Our Services/Awards:

Great American Lines, Inc. (GALI) is an owner and operator of a PCC (pure car carrier) ship that provides ocean transport of  automobiles.  Our main service presently focuses on the transport of light passenger vehicles from Japan (Port of Toyohashi) to the United States (East or West Coast).  US East Coast ports of discharge for passenger vehicles are usually Jacksonville, Florida and Newark, New Jersey.  US West Coast ports of discharge for passenger vehicles are usually Benicia and Long Beach, California.

GALI received the President's Award for Marine Import Carrier Logistics Excellence in 2014 and 2015 from Toyota Logistics Services (TLS).  GALI also received from TLS awards as the top marine import carrier for On-Time Performance and Customer Service in 2014 and 2015.

Prior to 2014, GALI received awards from TLS as the top marine import carrier for the following:

On-Time Performance in 2013, 2006, 2005, 2004 and 1997

Quality Award in 2011, 2006, 2004 and 2002

(FMSL) have received ISO 14001:2004 certification for our Environment Management System and ISO 9001:2008 certification for our Quality Management System valid up to September 11, 2017 from our registrar United Registrar of Systems (URS) - Certificate Number: 49924/B/0001/UK/En. 


We are sea carrier members of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT).
